“We are pleased to offer this recommendation of Adroit Solar based on the work that you have completed for us at numerous sites in Escondido, Vista, Poway, and San Diego. In particular, we would like to call out the creative and reponsive work that Adroit Solar performed at our LEED Platinum rated Kalos Apartments.

Adroit Solar was involved very early in the design and feasibility at Kalos, and helped come up with a combined domestic hot water system and common area photovoltaic system that cost-effectively and efficiently met the needs to provide the highest in energy efficiency and savings while resolving the demands of a mid-rise site with tight roof space.

As you know, Kalos exceeded Title 24 by over 40% much of which is attributable to the hydronic heating and hot water system that Adroit helped design (50 solar collectors which cover 70% of total building use). The 109kV photovoltaic system covers virtually all of the common area use. These design results are being proved in substantial utility savings as the project enters its second year of operation.

We are proud to trust Adroit with the $747,000 at this award winning project while using them at several other sites (both new construction and retrofit) during the last three years.”
