To minimize the use of propane on-site, a twenty ton ground loop field plays double duty for two systems, space heating and cooling, and pool heating. The residence geothermal heat pumps generate the radiant floor heating, chill water fan coil cooling, and exterior radiant deck heating. Separate geothermal heat pumps heat a 20′ x 50′ pool designed by Skip Phillips and Mission Pools, with in shell radiant heating. The project includes a 9.2 kW photovoltaic system and a Tekmar Tn4 control system tied into home automation system.
